Park Shin Hye Confirmed in SBS Upcoming Drama, 'Pinocchio'

On September 04, SALT Entertainment revealed that Park Shin Hye confirmed the female lead role as Choi In Ha in SBS upcoming drama, 'Pinocchio'.

'Pinocchio' centers the story of local news reporters in their 20's. It is the new project of Screenwriter Park Hye Ryun and Producer Jo Soo Won (who worked together before in 'I Hear Your Voice')

Park Shin Hye will play the character of Choi In Ha, who wants to become a reporter although she has a 'Pinocchio Syndrome' which makes her hiccup every time she lies. 

The drama is set to air this November 2014 in SBS.

Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk Possible Casting in Pinocchio

S.A.L.T Entertainment and Wellmade Entertainment announced recently that their talent Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk were given an offer to star in the upcoming SBS drama Pinocchio. Directed by Jo Soo Won and Wriiten by Park Hye Ryun, Pinocchio is about the world of social reporters and is scheduled to be aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays this coming November 2014.

Park Shin Hye is currently filming "The Tailors," a film in which she plays a fashion conscious queen whose taste in clothes sparks political rivalries. Her last television drama appearance was in hugely popular "The Heirs" with co-stars Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin.

Lee Jong Suk recently finished filming "Doctor Stranger" about a North Korean defector medical genius and he also contributed extra scenes to the movie version of that drama which was filmed in China.

As of now, there is no official statement yet if Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk accepts the offer. Stay tuned for more updates.

Park Shin Hye accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Yoo Yeon-seok challenge Park Shin Hye and other fellow Korean artists to perform the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge or donate 100 US dollars to ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) association.

She accepted the challenge while she was on tour and said that "I hope this small challenge becomes hope for those suffering from Lou Gehrig's and their family". She withstood the ice cold water without a flaw and bowed her head down.

Park Shin-hye challenged actress Lim Se-mi, Yong Joon-hyung and "The Tailors"' director Lee Won-seok in return.

PaekSang Arts Awards, also known as Baeksang Arts Awards is one of the most coveted award giving body in South Korea held a poll for their Most Popular Actress on TV award. Our angel Shin Hye won the votes with 52.6% majority beating Yoona and Jeon Ji-hyun.

On May 27, 2014, awards night, Park Shin Hye accepted her award along with Kim Soo-hyun ( won both Most Popular TV and Movie Male) and SNSD's Kwon Yuri (won Most Popular Movie Female)

Park Shin Hye has been nominated and won in PaekSang Arts Awards Most Popular Actress both in movie and television since 2011 which really means that the people really loved our sweet angel.

2014 Park Shin Hye World Tour: Story of Angel

Last year, Park Shin Hye went around Asia with her Kiss of Angel tour in celebration with her 10th anniversary in the industry, this year, a S.A.L.T. representative proudly announced that our beloved princess will tour around the world in seven countries. That tour will be named '2014 Park Shin Hye World Tour: Story of Angel'

The S.A.L.T. representative stated:

We are always thankful for the love in Korea and overseas. Starting in May, [Park Shin Hye] plans to meet more international fans in the U.S., Thailand, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. As Park Shin Hye is a hard worker who prepares a new stage whenever there is an opportunity to communicate with fans, she will perform a variety of stages this year.

Her world tour will kick-off in New york where she'll attend the 2014 DramaFever Awards.

Recently the loyal fans of our beloved princess Park Shin Hye put up a petition (or in this case twitition) that stated that here Twitter account @ssinz be verified by Twitter as an official account of Park Shin Hye.

Park Shin Hye rumored to join Inifinity Challenge in Brazil

On the recent episode of Infinity Challenge aired last March 29, 2014, Park Shin Hye appeared as one of the guests.

The members were recruiting by auditioning other celebrities to join them in their "Infinite Challenge Brazil World Cup Cheer Leading Team" to support the Korean soccer team. Park Shin Hye surprised and amazed the members upon her arrival and they immediately expressed their approval to let her join the team. She was also given a challenge to show her cheer leading skills by dancing Sistar's Alone. Again, the members were awed by her sexy dancing and quick learning skills. They even commented she's "Perfect" during the show. Jung Hyung Don suggested Park Shin Hye to be the only female member in the team and as expected all of them agreed.

Park Shin Hye shows her dancing moves and makes members go crazy about it.

Although the members and staff wanted her badly to join them, it was not revealed in the show if she accepted the team or not. Staffs from "Infinity Challenge" revealed that other celebrities were interviewed to join the cheer leading team but they haven't decided who to include in the final list of participants yet.
